Markets Do Not Exist In Isolation.
Neither Should Your Understanding Of Them.
Challenges, Differentiation, and Innovation In Financial Markets
is a 2.5 day training course providing insight into how market participants
trade, invest, route orders, seek liquidity and best execution,
get market information, manage positions and risk, and clear &
settle trades across different asset classes and in different geographies.
Course participants will learn about the nuances of derivatives
and other asset classes, market & reference data, corporate
actions, trading and portfolio management systems, risk management,
regulation and compliance, and securities processing. Unlike other
capital markets training courses, we include metrics and profiles
of leading commercial providers of data, applications, and services
that are driving innovation and competitive differentiation in the
financial markets.
Understanding the total landscape and structure of the capital
markets is fundamental to develop top performers, whether you are
a market participant or a service provider selling to this dynamic
industry. This course will help attendees understand the evolution,
current state, and likely future state of the front, middle, and
back office along with actual and forecasted IT and services spending
to confirm the key capabilities driving innovation, competitive
differentiation, operational excellence, or regulatory compliance.
As with all Cline Group training courses, we include extensive industry
research, metrics, surveys, and views of the commercial landscape
to make learning more pragmatic and insightful as to current and
future industry trends. The detailed agenda, course curriculum,
and outlines for each course segment of Challenges, Differentiation,
and Innovation In Financial Markets is available for review
here.
The course has been designed as a small group learning experience.
To foster the best and most interactive learning experience possible,
course attendance is limited to no more than 25 registrants at a
given session. As with all Cline Group courses, founder and managing
partner Bill Cline provides the instruction to ensure knowledgeable
interaction with course participants regardless of level.
Regularly scheduled Challenges, Differentiation, and Innovation
In Financial Markets courses are offered on the second Tuesday
of most months in either midtown Manhattan in New York City or in
the historic district of Charleston,
SC. New York City is of course the financial capital of the
world and a hub of economic and cultural activity, so there's always
something exciting to do or see. The response to the Charleston
courses has been particularly strong, a moderately priced destination
that is a real treat for course participants to visit. Charleston
is a notable tourist destination, with streets lined with grand
live oaks draped with Spanish moss and many beautiful and historic
pastel-colored homes and gardens. On the evenings of the first and
second days, we host group dinners at top Charleston restaurants
for all course attendees, allowing for discussion and interaction
between instructor and course participants- and to have some fun!
We also offer the Challenges, Differentiation, and Innovation
In Financial Markets course for individual companies conducted
at the location of your choosing. This option can minimize travel
related expenses for course attendees while at the same time fostering
company-specific strategic and operational brainstorming through
the group discussions. In this manner, the factual and predictive
characteristics of our course can have an immediate impact on your
business objectives as attendees apply lessons learned and insights
gained in service to their individual company.
You can register for the scheduled Challenges, Differentiation,
and Innovation In Financial Markets courses from the Schedule
